  Margareta and Tommy Malmsten were honored with the Medal of Entrepreneurship!

  At a formal ceremony, at the House of Nobility in Stockholm, on April 9th, 2013, the Swedish Princess Désirée presented the Medal of Entrepreneurship to Margareta and Tommy Malmsten.
  
  The medal is a recognition for outstanding entrepreneurship. Only 10 entrepreneurs are awarded yearly, by the Royal Patriotic Society.
  
  Medals of Entrepreneurship are awarded to businesspeople, with ownership influence who created and developed businesses. Their long-term, meaningful work inspires others and creates a better Sweden.
  
  In a brief statement Margareta and Tommy Malmsten commented the award;
  We are of course very happy for every major order that we get. However, this reaches another level. It goes outside everything else, says Margareta and Tommy Malmsten.

• Prolonged collaboration with LEN

  LEN and MALMSTEN’s collaboration continues four more years
  
  We are proud to announce that LEN (European Aquatics Federation) once more has chosen Malmsten AB as the official supplier of swimming racing lane and water polo equipment for the coming three years until 2016.
  
  Please find the pressrelease sent out by LEN herefter;
  MALMSTEN AB will continue to be the official supplier of swimming pool racinglane equipment for the European Aquatic s Federation (LEN) after agreeing to extend the partnership until 2016.
  
  This new agreement between LEN and MALMSTEN extends the collaboration regarding the use of Malmsten lanes at the European Swimming Championships
  and European Short Course Swimming Championships during the period from 2013 to 2016.
  
  MALMSTEN equipment will also be used for Water Polo LEN Events, as well as for Synchronised Swimming and Open Water Swimming competitions.
  
  LEN is pleased to be able to continue to count on the experience and quality that Malmsten has offered across the world of Aquatics for so many years.

  L´équipement Malmsten déjà mis sur place dans les piscines olympiques!

  Nous avons équipé les piscines de compétition pour la natation, la nage synchronisée, le water-polo et Hyde Park pour l'eau libre avec notre équipement de course.
  En plus de lignes d´eau et les terrains de water-polo, nous avons sur place notre cat walk pour les juges de water-polo, les porte-balles, et le lance-ballon de water-polo, notre banc pour les joueurs de water-polo, les lignes de démarcation pour la nage synchronisée, les lignes d'arrivée du nage libre d'eau ouvert, les trappes pour les lignes d´eau avec des sacs de stockage sous la plage de la piscine, nos chaises pour sauveteur, des poteaux de fanion et les fixation en acier inoxydable.
  
  En outre, nos lignes d´eau et équipements de water-polo sont dans toutes les piscines de réchauffement et d´entraînement. Nous équipons un total de 10 piscines et bien sûr la lac de Hyde Park, où les compétition de libre nage ont lieu.
  
  Eva-Marie, Jens et Christian ont été à Londres pour peaufiner tous les équipements Malmsten situé dans les piscines olympiques. Le 16e juillet tous les athlètes olympique ont l'accès.
  
  L´équipe de Malmsten, Eva-Marie, Jens Christian, Marcus et Tommy,  seront sur place à toute éventualité. Les piscines olympiques s'agit d'une installation impressionnante, et voici quelques extraits de leur dernière visite - LONDON 2012
  

• Malmsten streamlines operations with a new ERP!

  We are excited to inform you that as of December 3rd, 2012, we are implementing a new ERP-system, Enterprise Resource Planning system, at Malmsten, this resulting from our aim of offering the best possible service and efficiency, and to maintain our highest quality standards.
  
  After a thorough study we have selected the Microsoft Dynamics AX. We believe that it will offer us a modern platform with new possibilities for E-business and other tools to better face future demands and to continue our development. There will be great benefits for all our customers as well, with faster service and more accurate inventory information.
  
  We value your business and our partnership. We have worked hard to prepare a smooth transition. However, we are informing you today as you might notice some interruptions in service and there may be some difficulties at start-up. We thank you, in advance, for your understanding and cooperation.
  
  With the new system you will notice the following:
  
  - Electronic invoicing. Future invoices will be sent electronically in PDF-format. Hopefully this should be a more environmentally friendly approach. Though we understand if some of you still require a paper version by regular post, and it is no problem for us to continue this, but please let us know.
  
  - New items numbers. However, do not worry as we will be equipped to take orders for some time with the “older” item numbers.
